ARK1 Patch by Shepard Fairey

A great little short giving Shepard's thoughts on creating this very neat patch.  This is the kind of creative collaboration that the space program needs.

Growing up, my grandfather would take me to the planetarium and I would stare at all the mission patches behind the glass at the gift shop, thinking each one represented some super human endeavor.  Those tiny sewn images imply so much wonder!

Frank Lloyd Wright Interview

An 1957 interview of FLW detailing his thoughts on architecture by jury, the Guggenheim, centralizing all of NYC in three skyscrapers and letting the streets grow over with grass and other various topics.

He makes a compelling point on avoiding becoming an "average of averages" concerning design by trusting analysis and avoiding comparison in decision making, I couldn't help myself but to capture this quote...

seventh GENERATION Laundry Detergent

I've seen a lot of pulp trays as inserts for packaging and storage bins but this is the best application yet, it nails what this brand stands for.  The exterior is two pulp forms glued together with a bladder on the inside attached to a cap.

Warby Parker

As a person with inherited genetic flaws regarding my perception, I appreciate a nice pair of frames and this Warby character has some bold ones.  I'll giving them my business soon and if you feel charitable, they also offer a great "buy one / give one" opportunity.
